Hello, my name is Maya Robinson.

So on April 20, 2015, I was reflecting on my experience at a sexual purity conference and this is what I came up with. 

I went to a sexual purity conference and left the place leaving so inspired! Inspired that I could get my flesh under subjection! That I could follow the will of God for my life! That there is more to me than what's between my legs!! One of the speakers shared that she has a blog called the Virgin Diaries. On it, she shares how she's been able to remain a virgin through her 29 years of life, her experiences and thoughts and feelings. That inspired me, to create one of my own. See my story is a little different than hers, actually a lot different. Unfortunately I can't say that I have been a virgin my whole 24 (now 26 because I wrote this part two years ago, literally to the day) years of life. I only made it about 14 years and 4 and a half months. From then on things changed!

So now on April 20, 2017, I finally got up the courage and stepped out on faith to let you all see my own personal blog! Of course, so maaaannnnyyy things have changed over the last two years! So I hope you can forgive me for not being that same girl from 2015, but I PROMISE YOU, I'm gonna be as real as I can possibly be with you!

I hope you enjoy each journey that I take you on! I hope that you will really join in with me as I lay these things out! I hope this blog inspires you to share YOUR stories with other people! We don't always have to learn and grow through experiencing things firsthand, sometimes we can learn vicariously (we learn from watching and/or listening to others)! After all, the Word does say, And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death (Revelation 12:11 )!
